The quick weeknight dinner.
6-Ingredient Ditalini with Peas and Parmesan is the perfect lazy-night dinner. All you need is a few ingredients and less than 20 minutes of time.
How do I make good pasta?
1.) Use a large pot that holds lots of water.
2.) Make sure the water comes to a rolling boil, not a simmer.
3.) Season the water with plenty of salt. That is the chance to season the pasta.
4.) Stir right after the pasta is dumped into the water.
5.) Remove once the pasta is al dente–make sure the pasta is not mushy (usually 10 minutes of cook time).
6.) Drain well, and serve immediately.
What you will need:
What can I add to Ditalini pasta?
•Sundried tomatoes with garlic.
•Parmesean, fetta, or asiago cheese.
•Artichoke and olive oil.
The options are endless.
What are the benefits of peas?
Peas contain fiber, Vitamin A, iron, folate, and Vitamin C just to name a few benefits.
Fun fact: Over two hundred years ago, any man who went out to sea knew they had a 50-50 chance of returning alive–not because of pirates, or a rough storm, but because of the lack of Vitamin C that would cause the deadly disease Scurvy.
