These Strawberry Santas have become a holiday favorite in our house! My kids love making them, especially adding the mini chocolate chip eyes. I love how easy they are to put together, and they are always a hit when I take them to holiday gatherings.

It’s one of those recipes that’s simple yet impresses everyone. Plus, it’s a great way to get into the holiday spirit without spending hours in the kitchen!

How to Make Strawberry Santas

***For complete recipe instructions, see the recipe card below.

  1. Beat the cream cheese, then mix in powdered sugar and vanilla.
  2. Put the filling in a piping bag.
The cream cheese filling mixed together in the bowl of a stand mixer.
  3. Cut strawberries in half. Pipe filling on the bottom half.
  4. Top the filling with the other half of the strawberry.
  5. Add mini chocolate chips as eyes and a small squeeze of the frosting on top before serving.
A strawberry cut, filled, and eyes added so the strawberry looks like Santa.

Recipe Variations

  • Instead of monkfruit powdered sugar, you can use regular powdered sugar.
  • We like using low-fat cream cheese for these but feel free to use full-fat.

Storage Tips

SERVE: You can keep these out for up to two hours before they need to be refrigerated.

STORE: Any leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. They’re best enjoyed fresh but can be kept for a little while.

Recipe FAQs

Can I make these Strawberry Santas ahead of time?

These can be made a few hours in advance. After making them, store them in the fridge until you are ready to serve them.

Can I make the filling without an electric mixer?

You can mix the filling by hand. However, this method requires more effort to make the filling fluffy and smooth.

Can I make these with frozen strawberries?

I do not recommend using frozen strawberries as they become too soft when thawed.
