This gravy costs approximately $0.08 to make. The recipe makes six servings, costing around $0.01 per serving!

This gluten-free turkey gravy is one of my go-to recipes for making my holiday meals extra special. It’s so simple to whip up, using just a handful of ingredients. It’s cost-effective because you use the turkey drippings after roasting a turkey, turkey breast, or turkey tenderloins.

The best part? It’s not just delicious—it’s also a healthier choice since it’s made with gluten-free flour, which is easier on our stomachs and great for anyone with gluten sensitivities. The rich flavor from the turkey drippings adds that comforting, homemade taste that reminds me of family gatherings. Trust me, this gravy will be a hit at your table!

Recipe FAQs

Can I make this gravy ahead of time?

Yes! You can make it ahead and store it in the fridge for up to 3 days. Just reheat it on the stove and whisk it well before serving.

Can I use a different type of gluten-free flour?

Any gluten-free flour blend should work, but the texture might vary slightly depending on the brand.

How do I thin out the gravy if it’s too thick?

Add more water or broth and whisk until you reach your desired consistency.

What if I don’t have turkey drippings?

You can substitute chicken or vegetable broth, though the flavor will be slightly altered. You may need to add a bit of butter or fat for richness.
